A Message From Coach Hobbs

Dear GW Basketball fan,
I hope you have enjoyed your summer thus far and are as excited as I am about our upcoming season.

Last year, the Colonials men’s basketball program made excellent strides. We doubled our number of wins, returned to the Atlantic 10 tournament and to post-season play with our invitation to the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) tournament.

Our players proudly recall the passion and enthusiasm you brought to the game as we took control of the Orange Line and beat local rival George Mason, ran even with a strong Big East team in Providence, hosted 50 years of Colonials legends at our Homecoming Game against Charlotte and welcomed President Obama and his family at our game against Oregon State. We look forward to the same energy every game next season as we fight our way back to the elite ranks of the A-10.
